Merengue....

Merengue is another of Latin American dances. It literally means meringue, and I know what you are thinking, what’s up with Latin American dances and food, First salsa and now meringue. I must say that if there are two things that the majority of Latin people like is food and party. I don’t know if that has anything to do but what I do know is that Merengue is a folkloric dance from the Dominican Republic. The name actually could have derived from the words Muserengue or Tamtam Mouringue.  These are names of types of dances brought over from the African coast (Guinea) to the Americas. Nevertheless take a moment just to contemplate the meringue on that lime pie, because that is how sweet it is to dance this fun music.
up next is a video that will give you a taste of what Merengue looks like or could look like with practise

this is a complete video of how to dance merengue. check it out and start shaking it.

Dont tell me you can not do it !! watch this video and then give me excuses.

In America Salsa is a dip for chips. In Latin America and the Caribbean Salsa is one of the genres that make us shake it. Salsa is the mixture of other types of music like Son Cubano and the Danzon. Is not clear if the Salsa was originated in Cuba or in New York, so I will say of Cuba was its mother and New York was its father. Let’s see what this salsa is all about.
This video is the best one i have seen out there.

To learn to dance salsa its necesary that you feel the music. if you are a person that does not have any rythm you will need a little extra practise, but never give up.
salsa can become a very sexy dance but on here I will  teach only the basics.
